Deana Carpenter - Chair

Deana was born in East Garston and has lived in the village for most of her life. The only time she has been away from the village was when she lived in Newmarket for two years whilst her husband Danny was stationed with the USAF at RAF Lakenheath. She has worked for an IT company as their financial controller for 18 years. She is actively involved in the Social Club. She enjoys reading, ten pin bowling and socialising.

Annabelle Eyre - Councillor

Annabelle moved to East Garston with her parents , Monica and Jim, in 1988 and has lived here off and on since then, making it her permanent home in 2007.   She currently works in Westminster in central Government .  An enthusiastic dog walker (of wirehaired dachshunds) and a slow runner, she makes the most of the surrounding countryside.

Jonathan Rabbitts - Councillor

Jonathan has lived and farmed in the immediate locality virtually all of his life. He is married to Joanne and they have 2 children. Driving through and around East Garston everyday he can keep up with what is happening in the village and feels well placed to lend assistance should any problems arise. As a Parish Councillor and past Chairman he likes to think he can keep and maintain all that is good in our village for future generations.

Stephen Reschwamm - Councillor

Steve and his wife Nicola have lived in East Garston since 2013. They fell in love with the stunning countryside walks on the doorstep. Steve is a retired Thames Valley Police Officer who worked in several detective roles, before retiring in 2011 as a Detective Chief Inspector on the South-East Counter Terrorism Unit. He then continued with the unit in a managerial role before finally retiring in 2020. He enjoys watching all sports and plays golf regularly.

Liam Robson - Councillor

Liam moved to the village from Lambourn in 1997 with his wife Sally and daughter Hannah. Liam spent most of his career working within the relocation industry, responsible for partnering with large Blue Chip companies and Government Departments who had a business need to relocate Senior Managers/Directors and their families on a global basis.
Liam is now a proud grandparent and enjoys most motor sports and in particular Formula One. He is a regular attender at the gym in Lambourn and enjoys country walks.

Sue Tulloch - Councillor

Sue moved to the village from London in 2003 with her husband Freddie. She helps to run an Events and Corporate Hospitality business in the village and works with Freddie on the farm and shoot.  They have four children, 2 boys & 2 girls, the last 3 born here & christened at All Saints Church. She is a trustee of the Village Hall.  Sue loves running, particularly around the beautiful countryside of East Garston; she also loves to cook and to play golf – badly!

Liz James - Clerk

Liz moved to East Garston in 2022 with her husband Andrew and son Arthur. Andrew grew up in the village and Liz and Andrew were married in All Saints Church in 2019. Previously a History teacher and boarding school Housemistress, Liz is now a full-time mum and enjoys daily walks around the village with her dog Twiglet, usually with Arthur in tow. When she gets the chance Liz enjoys long distance mountain treks, cycling and swimming.
