Groundwater Information
All the relevant information on rainfall, groundwater and flood risk in the Lambourn Valley is now available in easy-to-understand form**. This is how it looks; click on the image to visit the website and see the current information.

The prime purpose of the site is to provide a more detailed view of flood risk and warnings, by providing data that gives a better understanding of the links between rainfall, groundwater and flooding, and of course, the implications for sewage pollution.
All of the information used is in the public domain, but this website brings all the relevant information into one place, with a dashboard to point out the crucial bits. It includes live data showing:
- Groundwater levels
- Rainfall
- River levels
- Flood warnings
- Sewage discharges
- Historical records
- Maps showing: (look for map layers and the little “eyes” to open or close)
- Flood risk areas from both river and surface water
- Historical flood data
- EA gauges
- Geology
- Catchment areas
And much more….
** With thanks to Piers Allison of the Pang Valley Flood Forum for developing his website to include the Lambourn Valley.
