In order for us to help you with any health problem more efficiently and safely, and deal with the surge of demand following the easing of lockdown, we have introduced a new way of making an appointment. Instead of phoning us for an appointment, please visit our website www.lambournsurgery.co.uk . From the front page, select the “consulting room” and then “get help for any health problem”. From here you can tell us your problem or question. Within 3 hours of submitting the form, any appointment requests will be viewed by a doctor and they will respond. This will be either a telephone call, a request for you to make an appointment (face to face or telephone) or the doctor will resolve it with you online.

 A relative, friend or advocate can use the system on your behalf. If you do not wish to use the website, or it is after 4.30pm and your request is urgent, you may continue to hold for a receptionist who will go through some questions with you so that your request can be dealt with by the most appropriate person or service. This will really help us to manage the current level of demand in the most efficient and safe way, and will enable you to contact us at any time and have a response within 3 working hours. We really appreciate your continued co-operation with the changes we have had to introduce in such short timescales during this pandemic."
